Part 1 :
Today we learnt about a line that was said by Romeo to Juliet . Its is called sonnets . A sonnets contained 14 lines and each lines contained 10 syllable . The ryme scheme in this sonnets are like abab , cdcd , efef , gg . This is the sonnets that we did :
If I profane with my unworthiest hand
This is my holy shrine, the gentle sin is this:
My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand
To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss
Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,
Which mannerly devotion shows in this,
For saints have hands that pilgrim's hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmer's kiss
Have not saints lips, and holy palmer's too?
Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer.
O then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do.
Then pray, grant thou, lest faith turn to despair
Saints do not move, through grant for prayer's sake.
Then move not, while my prayer's effect I take.
Then Mr Chua go through the question and explained it clearly to us so that we understand . Then the bell rang , Mr Chua told us to complete another page of sonnets and hand it in next week .
Part 2 :
Today the school have to stay back for a make-up lesson . When Mr Chua came to class , he told us to bring our Literature file and pencil box and line up outside the classroom . He brought us to the Movers and Shakers Gallery to do a worksheet about our fore fathers . After he explained about whaat we are supposed to do , we walked around the Movers and Shakers Gallery to find our answer . After we have finished our work , he told us to hand-in the worksheet to him and sit down quietly . Then the bell rang , he told us to go back to class and prepare for the next lesson .
